Overview
The Strategy Analyst is an integral member of the Corporate Strategy team, providing analytical and research support across Endeavor's most consequential strategic initiatives. This individual will develop data-driven insights, build financial and operational models, and contribute to executive and Board-level deliverables. The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to work on high-visibility projects spanning fleet planning, corporate goal-setting, and external affairs - making it an exceptional foundation for a career in aviation strategy or general management.
Responsibilities
Analysis & Research
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of strategic planning, fleet evaluation, network assessments, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Build, maintain, and stress-test financial and operational models including scenario analyses, sensitivity tables, and cost-benefit frameworks.
  • Gather, synthesize, and interpret data from internal systems, industry databases, and publicly available sources to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Track key performance indicators and strategic initiative milestones; prepare regular status updates for leadership review.

Executive & Board Support
  • Assist in developing presentation materials for Board of Directors meetings, executive offsites, and leadership briefings.
  • Support preparation of strategy documents, one-pagers, and briefing packages under the direction of the Director and VP of Strategy.
  • Conduct research and prepare summaries on industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors relevant to the airline.

Fleet Planning Support
  • Assist the fleet planning process by compiling and organizing operational data, market research, and financial inputs.
  • Support the development of fleet comparison matrices, utilization models, and capital planning analyses.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and external vendors to collect data and validate assumptions.

Goal-Setting & Strategic Initiatives
  • Support the annual goal-setting process by preparing templates, tracking submissions, and consolidating results for leadership review.
  • Assist in managing project timelines, meeting logistics, and documentation for cross-functional strategy initiatives.
  • Maintain strategy team workspaces, libraries, and reporting tools to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information.

External Affairs Assistance
  • Research regulatory and legislative topics relevant to the airline, preparing summaries and backgrounders as needed.
  • Support preparation for external stakeholder engagements, conferences, and industry events.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • No direct reports.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related analytical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, finance, or analytical roles (internship experience considered for exceptional candidates).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis; proficiency in PowerPoint for executive-level presentations, and AI tools for automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in analytical work.

Preferred
  • Experience in the airline, transportation, or aerospace industry.
  • Exposure to strategic planning, corporate development, or management consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with airline data tools and databases (e.g., Cirium, OAG, CAPA, BTS).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or advanced Excel/SQL skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Can involve long periods of sitting. Computer work, repetitive motion such as typing.
  • Subject to critical deadlines.
  • Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
  • Travel up to 10%.
