Part-Time (15 Hours/Week to Start)
$30/Hour | Temporary, Indefinite Assignment
Trustpoint.One is partnering with a boutique California workers' compensation law firm to identify an experienced Legal Assistant / QME Calendar Clerk to support the firm's Founding Partner.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a flexible, fully remote position with the potential for additional hours and responsibilities as the practice continues to grow.
What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate all aspects of the QME process
  • Gather, organize, and index medical records
  • Maintain detailed medical record spreadsheets
  • Schedule depositions and prepare notices
  • Track deadlines and manage QME timelines
  • Assemble and prepare medical evaluation packages
  • Communicate with attorneys, medical providers, and other parties to keep matters moving efficiently

Qualifications:
  • Prior California Workers' Compensation experience required
  • Hands-on experience with Merus (required)
  • Experience supporting QME matters or medical-legal processes strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Self-starter who works well independently in a remote environment
