Summary:

This position will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure milestones are met on schedule and within the designated budget
  • Maintain clear, timely, and concise communication with both internal teams and external clients, while keeping accurate digital and physical project records
  • Review project proposals and plans to define project phases, timelines, budget limits, and material procurement
  • Collaborate with project personnel to offer technical advice and resolve constraints
  • Prepares project reports for management, clients, and key stakeholders
  • Review ongoing status reports adjusting schedules and plans as necessary to keep the project on track
  • Maintain strict adherence to the project scope through order management tracking, verifying alignment with project shop drawings and contract documents

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Associate’s degree in project management or related field, plus 1 - 3 years of experience in construction project management
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications is required
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Possess strong technical proficiency in to effectively oversee job operations 
  • Be vigilant about safety
  • Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence

 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and is expected to always use proper lifting techniques. Specific vision abilities required for this role includes close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee may occasionally be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

 

Travel Requirements:

The travel required for this position is less than 10%.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. Individuals are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at designated times and in specified environments in accordance with established safety program requirements. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. While performing job duties, individuals may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
