Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead to oversee daily workflow operations, support team performance, and help drive operational excellence. This position serves as a key resource for team members by providing guidance, training, and day-to-day support while ensuring compliance with client, investor, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in foreclosure, bankruptcy, or creditor rights operations and enjoys coaching others, solving problems, and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize team workflow to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Provide guidance and support on departmental procedures, client requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct quality reviews and spot checks to maintain accuracy and adherence to client scorecards and internal expectations.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for team questions, issues, and escalations.
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members to encourage professional development and improved performance.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and data entry within internal systems and client platforms.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and implementation of process updates.
  • Escalate operational, workflow, or compliance concerns to management when appropriate.
  • Support audits, client requests, reporting initiatives, and departmental projects.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and share recommendations with leadership.
  • Maintain a small portfolio of files while providing hands-on support during high-volume periods or staffing shortages.
  • Assist with client status updates, reporting requirements, and scorecard rebuttals as requested.


Qualifications

Required

  • 2-3 years of experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, creditor rights, mortgage servicing, or related legal operations.
  • Proven ability to manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, compliance requirements, and client scorecards.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or providing leadership support to team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and identify operational trends.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.


Preferred

  • 1+ year of experience in a Team Lead, Senior Specialist, or Supervisory Support role.
  • Experience working in foreclosure law firms, bankruptcy operations, creditor rights practices, or mortgage default servicing.
  • Familiarity with Perfect Practice or other legal case management platforms.
