Job description

We are partnering with a growing firm in Boston seeking a senior-level Operations Manager to join their team! This is an onsite role (5 days a week in-office) with great visibility into Senior Leadership. The ideal hire with enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and mentoring administrative staff.


Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: invoice processing, expense documentation, accounts payables and receivables, etc.
  • Human Resources: manage onboarding and offboarding of staff, and serve as the primary liaison with the firm's outsourced HR vendor on all HR-related matters. Coordinate onboarding logistics and cross-functional activities to ensure a seamless new-hire experience.
  • Information Technology: Be the primary point of contact with the firm's outside IT provider. Coordinate with IT and systems vendors (non-technical support) to ensure employees have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to be productive.
  • Operations & Facilities: Own the physical office experience, including supplies, deliveries, cafรฉ operations, conference room management, and general workplace maintenance. Manage the office and the landlord relationships.
  • Events & Culture: execute recurring firm events, such as the summer offsite, holiday party, and periodic company lunches and happy hours. Support internal events, employee experience initiatives, company swag programs, and team-building activities in partnership with the Operations and Executive Assistant.
  • Contract Administration: own the process for vendor agreements, and other business contracts, coordinating reviews, approvals, signatures, renewals, and communications with legal counsel, candidates, vendors, and external partners.
