Role Overview:

We are seeking a Legal Operations Manager to build and scale the operational backbone of our legal function. This role will partner closely with the General Counsel and legal team to drive efficiency, implement and manage systems, and ensure legal and compliance keep up with the fast pace of our business. 

This role will be foundational in scaling the legal function. You'll have the opportunity to build systems and processes from the ground up, shape how Legal partners with the business, and directly impact company efficiency and risk management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable processes across legal workflows, as well as cross functional initiatives with other teams (e.g., Sales, Finance, HR) 
  • Own selection, implementation, and management of legal tech stack (including CLM, e-billing, and matter management) 
  • Evaluate and optimize workflows through automation and tooling 
  • Act as primary liaison between Legal and IT/Security teams 
  • Help manage outside counsel relationships, including overseeing bill reviews and spend controls 
  • Help manage the Legal and Compliance budget and forecasting processes; track and analyze legal spend and generate related reporting 
  • Define and track metrics for legal performance 
  • Develop and maintain legal playbooks, templates, and other internal resources 
  • Support compliance programs and investigations 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience 
  • Bachelor's and/or paralegal certificate  
  • Strong understanding of legal department workflows and pain points  
  • Experience with legal technology (CLM, e-billing, matter management, etc.)  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive cross-functional initiatives  
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills  
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience at a high-growth or technology company preferred 
  • At least 2 years' experience at a nationally recognized law firm or in-house strongly preferred

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits.
