Legal Office seeks Full-time Receptionist

Requirements: Must have excellent communication skills. Must be reliable and punctual. Must be neat and professional in appearance, with the ability to multi-task. Must have basic computer skills and a common-sense approach. Prior experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word a must. Prior experience personal injury law preferred. 

  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Answer multi-line phone in a fast paced environment. 
    • Screen and transfer calls. 
    • Schedule appointments, meetings, and assist new clients with intake materials.
    • Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
    • Sort, distribute, and file mail, faxes, and other documents.
    • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
    • Label and sort electronic files. 
    • Assist with other administrative duties as needed.
  • Communication:

    • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all clients and staff.
    • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Organization:

      • Maintain accurate records and files.
      • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
      • Ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. 
      • Client Interaction:

        • Provide information and answer general inquiries.
        • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and attorneys.
        • Answer and screen phone calls, emails, and other communications.
        • Direct calls and visitors to the appropriate person or department.
