Department OverviewThe Global Digital Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing all strategic marketing and product marketing programs across the globe to drive product awareness, demand generation and sales enablement. The team oversees the global product marketing strategy for Motorola Solutions' entire portfolio, develops the messaging and go-to-market strategy for the business, creates and drives marketing programs and campaigns aimed to generate leads and builds brand awareness among target audiences, including system integrators, end-users and consultants.
Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, motivated, and experienced Content Writer to hit the ground running on our digital marketing team. In this role, you will research, write, and optimize content across a broad range of formats - from SEO-driven blog posts and thought leadership guides to web pages, email campaigns, datasheets, video scripts, and event presentations. Working cross-functionally with sales, product management, and marketing teams, you will help build brand awareness, drive organic growth, and communicate our value to customers and channel partners through compelling, well-crafted content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, write, and edit content across multiple formats including blog posts, articles, guides, white papers, web pages, email campaigns, datasheets, video scripts, ad copy, social media posts, and event and conference presentations.

  • Optimize new and existing content to align with SEO and AEO best practices and drive organic traffic.

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and leadership teams to identify topics of value, develop content strategy, and ensure alignment with branding and marketing initiatives.

  • Analyze buyer-persona demographics, preferences, and behaviors to tailor content effectively for B2B audiences.

  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in B2B content marketing - and apply that knowledge to continuously improve content quality and strategy.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and content reviewer, recommending changes based on market input and corporate initiatives.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all content and ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines.

  • Attend marketing events, team meetings, and functions as required.

Experience and Skills

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or a related field required

  • 2+ years of content writing experience in a corporate marketing environment, preferably in B2B software or technology

  • Portfolio demonstrating writing competency across multiple content formats

  • Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills - written and verbal

  • Strong storytelling ability with a talent for bringing narratives to life for a B2B audience

  • Marketing mindset - a genuine curiosity about what audiences consume and how to create it

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across departments and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to collaborate with remote teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as Google Gemini or similar

Target Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

  • Bachelor's degree AND 2+ years of content writing experience in a corporate marketing environment, preferably in B2B software or technology
