As a Mobile Director of Nursing would have the exciting opportunity to travel to different locations in Iowa that are in need of DON coverage. As acting Director of Nursing you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Legacy Healthcare by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care. This position would be a PRN – as needed role based on the needs of the company and may require DON, ADON and/or MDS duties.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Associate's Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, 5 years of R.N. experience, and previous experience managing a department. Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
