Join Avalon Health Clinic as a founding Neurologist and help shape a modern community-based outpatient specialist practice in Saanich, Greater Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. This role is designed for outpatient consultation and longitudinal care; hospital privileges, inpatient coverage, and hospital call are not required. Avalon is being built as a multidisciplinary clinic where physicians, nurse practitioners, rehabilitation clinicians, allied health professionals, and administrative team members work together in one coordinated system. Our culture is grounded in thoughtful medicine, collegiality, professional respect, clear communication, and a shared commitment to making healthcare easier to navigate for both patients and clinicians. Designed from the ground up with physicians in mind, Avalon combines a fully integrated electronic medical record, centralized billing, dedicated administrative and MOA support, flexible scheduling, thoughtfully designed clinical space, and coordinated clinical pathways to reduce administrative burden and support high-quality patient care.

Neurology will play a key role in Avalon's model, supporting adults with neurological symptoms and conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting. Areas of practice may include headache and migraine, concussion and persistent post-concussion symptoms, cognitive concerns, dizziness and vestibular symptoms, neuropathy, movement disorders, seizure follow-up where appropriate, and neurological contributors to chronic disease, rehabilitation, and recovery. You will work alongside family physicians, nurse practitioners, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, counsellors, rehabilitation clinicians, and other specialists within one connected care experience. This team-based model supports timely consultation, interdisciplinary case discussions, shared care planning, one chart and care plan, and measurable quality improvement while preserving physician autonomy and professional flexibility. This position is based exclusively in our outpatient clinic and is not affiliated with the Health Authority. As such, hospital privileges are not included with this role.
