Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer with a strong background in mechanical and HVAC systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, design, and execution of HVAC and mechanical projects. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of HVAC and mechanical systems for various projects.

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate project activities and resolve technical issues.

  • Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules to ensure efficiency and feasibility.

  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress and quality control.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Assist in selecting and procuring mechanical equipment, materials, and subcontractors.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for HVAC and mechanical installations.

  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software to support project development.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, change orders, and submittals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical and HVAC engineering projects.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical design principles, and energy efficiency standards.
