Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Natural and Physical Sciences at Shepherd University invites applications for a 9-month lecturer of chemistry position. Teaching responsibilities will include general chemistry I and lab, general chemistry II and lab, and other courses as assigned. The position will be expected to, in addition to teaching duties, hold office hours each week and assist with student mentorship.
Courses may be face-to-face, hybrid, or online, as determined by the University to meet curricular needs. Evening teaching may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's with expertise in chemistry
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level.
