North America Marketing Manager

Position Summary: 

The North America Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing marketing strategies and initiatives across the United States and Canada. This role ensures all regional marketing activities are aligned with global brand standards and corporate objectives while addressing the unique needs of the North American market. This position provides strategic leadership and serves as a key partner to global and regional marketing teams, leveraging North American market insights to help shape and inform global strategies.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement North America marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines and company objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the North America marketing team fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture with clear objectives that support professional development while ensuring that the team’s activities are aligned with cross functional initiatives. 
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Service, and other key stakeholders to align North America marketing initiatives with product launches, sales priorities, and business goals.
  • Coordinate content creation and updates across all digital properties, including writing, editing, and publishing website content, landing pages, and blog posts. Maintain content governance and quality standards, ensuring that all online materials align with LECO’s brand voice and style guidelines. Work with subject matter experts and Product Management to produce engaging, accurate, and relevant content that appeals to target audiences in various industries.
  • Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to localize global campaigns for North American audiences. Act as a liaison between North America marketing and global marketing leadership, influencing global initiatives through regional insights and performance feedback.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis across North America to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs. Translate insights into targeted regional marketing plans and share findings with global stakeholders.
  • Own and manage the North America marketing budget, allocating resources to maximize ROI while ensuring coordination and alignment with global marketing investments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure effective execution of regional campaigns.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, content marketing) and traditional channels (tradeshows, events, print) for North America.
  • Lead North America execution of product launches and promotional activities, ensuring consistent messaging, branding, and timing with global initiatives.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance and key marketing metrics for North America. Provide insights, reporting, and recommendations to optimize results and inform leadership decisions.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and technologies. Introduce best practices and innovative approaches that strengthen North America marketing effectiveness and can be leveraged globally.
  • Ensure all North America marketing activities comply with regional regulations, cultural considerations, and company policies while maintaining alignment with global standards.
  • Report on the effectiveness and impact of North America marketing initiatives to senior leadership, clearly connecting regional performance to broader business and global marketing objectives.
  • Manage the ongoing development and technical maintenance of LECO’s digital platforms, ensuring sites (corporate website, microsites, campaign pages) are secure, functional, and up to date. Oversee content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and coordinate with internal teams or external vendors for website enhancements, bug fixes, updates, and performance optimization (e.g., page speed, mobile responsiveness).

Position Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in marketing management with responsibility for regional or multi-country execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high performing marketing team, including coaching and developing direct reports in a marketing or related function. 
  • Experience collaborating with or operating within a global marketing environment; multinational exposure is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influential skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and regions.
  • Established record of success in developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results. 
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing platforms and marketing analytics tools.

Education/Certifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field required. Prior experience working with or marketing technical products, preferably in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related disciplines preferred.
