The Property Educator position is in our Sales and Marketing department. The role is responsible for leasing multi-family homes/apartments across multiple properties. Educating prospects so that they can make an informed decision is key for success. Strong Communication skills, the ability to multi-task and a high level of origination are a must for this fast pace and on the go career.

This position is an in-office position, office location may vary!  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000+

Must Have

2+ years sales experience

Responsibilities:

Attend company meetings (Daily Stand-up, L10, Townhall(Gratitude), etc.)

Lease a minimum of 150 units annually. Lease 180 units and qualify for $10K Bonus.

Provide showings at multiple locations to prospects

Providing complete, expert information to prospects via telephone and in-person tours, helping them to make the decision that best fits their needs

Post Ads (Craigslist, TubroTenant, Facebook)

Enter and manage leads into Guest Cards (including guest card follow up through our CRM in Appfolio)

Refunding premium leads

Application review and approval/denial based on minimum requirements. Denial letters when necessary.

Process and execution of lease agreements

Reporting – KPIs, budget review, occupancy, tenant tickler, unit vacancy, etc.

Manage model furniture - staging of units, photos and videos of models and vacant units

Walking units prior to Move-in

Review and update advertising so our best is out there for the world to see - website, Apartments.com, Zillow, etc. As well as refreshing vacancies.

Review rents - market rent, advertised rent, specials, etc.

Special projects as needed

Walking all assigned properties/models/vacant units and entering work orders for necessary improvements as well as managing up on updates needed - we are the eyes and ears.

Thank you cards

Signage review - do our property signs meet our expectations, need updated, or need replacement

Monthly market surveys

Additional learnings as it comes available – AAN, etc.
