Job Title: Grounds Crew
Location: Wichita Country Club
About Us: Wichita Country Club is one of the oldest and most esteemed country clubs in the region, dedicated to offering an exceptional lifestyle experience for our community. We pride ourselves on maintaining top-tier facilities, products, services, and programming for our members.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Crew member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and outdoor spaces of our facility to a high standard. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
  • Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment.
  • Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
  • Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
  • Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
  • Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
  • Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
  • Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
  • Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
  • Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.

Requirements: (Must be at lease 16 years of age)
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Extended education in a related agriculture/landscape is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in golf or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
