Job description

La Jolla Apartments is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Bilingual Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and enjoys helping people find their next home. This position plays a key role in leasing apartments, assisting current residents, and providing excellent customer service in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents and provide property tours.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
  • Process rental applications and verify applicant information.
  • Prepare lease agreements and renewal documents.
  • Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records.
  • Follow up with prospective residents to convert leads into leases.
  • Assist current residents with questions, payments, and lease-related concerns.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team regarding resident requests and apartment readiness.
  • Help market available apartments through social media and other advertising platforms.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming leasing office environment.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
  • Previous leasing, property management, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning property management software.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
