Hill International is seeking a Program Manager - Healthcare in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full time onsite position.
We are looking for a leader who is passionate about healthcare. This is an opportunity to be part of growing a team of project managers and building a practice in Western United States. Extensive experience with a variety of healthcare projects and the ability to manage multiple clients and teams is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise staff
  • Coordinate Architect/Engineers, contractors, and respective contracts for all healthcare projects
  • Coordinate schedule and budget information for the healthcare practices
  • Must familiarize and develop a strategy to coordinate the requirements/needs of all interested parties. Must be able to analyze requested changes and to manage the change process
  • Assist project management team with coordinating communications between contractor, client, site personnel, and consulting engineers
  • Make recommendations on project plan: design, scope, contract issues, budget and actual cost analysis, proposed changes, schedule changes and project extensions
  • Maintain project budget, manage contractor schedules and report on decisions regarding design, specifications, costs, schedule and program or risk for practice
  • Ability to review project documents (drawings, specifications, RFI's, schedules, etc.) and evaluate the completeness for the respective phase of design and/or construction
  • Responsible for managing the quality of the project(s) and manage facility to ensure successful completion as it relates to "on time" and within budget
  • Travel as needed to project sites to lead meetings maintain and improve project communications and reduce interferences

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar required
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience, including healthcare projects or programs
  • Recent ground up experience, $250 - $500 million hospital experience
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to interact with C-Suite level clients
  • Experience with large, multi-campus medical centers
  • Knowledge of local and national building codes, ADA requirements and familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety requirements on construction projects
  • Advanced knowledge of business operations and project management
  • Exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities to introduce and implement technical solutions
  • Preference for experience with mental health medical facilities
  • Must be willing to work full time onsite
