Field Learning Operations Manager 

Shift-Sunday to Wednesday 8:00am to 6:00pm

Factor a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Field Learning Operations Manager. As the Field Learning Operations Manager and a member of the leadership team in one of our Fulfillment Centers, your role will be to manage the learning needs of all employees in the building. Your role will support the creation and delivery of products that improve the overall onboarding and the on-the-job learning experience. You will be the site POC for Field Learning and a key player in building internal and external relationships between operations and Field Learning. 

You will...

  • Promote food safety, quality, and a safety-first culture 
  • Work with the salaried and hourly trainers to identify and remove operational and training barriers
  • Build and manage data analysis methods to track key performance metrics
  • Liaise between hourly groups, salaried groups, and technical stakeholders to identify potential bottlenecks/roadblocks for technical process launches and updates throughout the network.
  • Develop and track team development plans and initiatives 
  • Work cohesively with ancillary departments and operations teams to build and deliver technical and soft skills training onsite 
  • Manage Distribution/fulfillment interdepartmental relationships (Ops, Safety, FS&Q, HR, etc.)
  • Review Distribution/fulfillment level reporting and disseminate to key Distribution/fulfillment stakeholders
  • Oversee, design or consult on training initiatives that impact both local and network business 
  •  Project manage deliverables which includes scheduling, executing and providing real time updates to senior leadership 
  • Review certified job training records for compliance and escalate gaps or opportunities for improvement
  • Understand parameters of machine operations training including but not limited to forklift and powered equipment operations, kitchen and fulfillment hardware  
  • Create a positive team dynamic that encourages associates to ask questions, provide feedback, adapt to the ever-changing business and stay focused on the customer experience

You have...

  • A BS/BA in Business, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Supply Chain, Food Science, Management, Product or Project Management, technical training, technical operations, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or other relevant fields. 
  • 3 + years of employee/customer engagement experience in the areas of operational management (retail/ tech/ warehousing/hospitality) with a focus on learning and development, change management, project management 
  • 3 + years of work experience directly leading and developing exempt and non-exempt team members
  • Experience in managing, designing, or developing training products that have a scalable business impact
  • Proven experience in stakeholder communications and influencing cross-functional leadership at all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time 
  • Ability to communicate, and express ideas and thoughts clearly and with tact and diplomacy 
  • Proven experience in Google Suites applications
