Job description

Temporary position through January 2027To utilize expertise in the Learning Management System (LMS) used at UAB Health System, and work independently to identify and resolve complex problems to achieve organizational objectives. To manage multiple technical tasks effectively, and work with content experts to create online courses, services, and instructional material. To provide support for the LMS for internal and external customers and serve as an LMS liaison across multiple departments to facilitate request analysis, problem analysis, process improvement activities, and create online content.

To participate in system design and testing as well maintain the LMS within the assigned scope of responsibility. To serve in advisory role to support advances in LMS functionality by staying updated on changing LMS and instructional technology, working collaboratively with the vendors associated with the LMS and third parties. To use information and learning technology to advance optimization of the LMS, perform special projects as assigned, and mentor other staff working in the LMS.
