Job Description

The Solution Administrator is responsible for Solution Management, Integration Maintenance, Ed Tech Engagement, Security and Compliance, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity, User Support and Training, Vendor Management, Integration Review and Advisement, Performance Monitoring and Optimization, and Policy Development and Documentation. The Solution Administrator ensures the seamless operation of the university's technological infrastructure while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Location: This position will be based onsite in our Salt Lake City, UT office.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of software solutions critical to the university's operations.
  • Manages the integration of various systems and platforms to ensure interoperability and data consistency.
  • Collaborates with faculty and staff to identify, evaluate, and implement educational technologies that enhance the learning experience.
  • Implements and enforces security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive plans to mitigate the impact of disasters and ensure business continuity.
  • Provides technical support to users and conducts training sessions to promote efficient use of technology resources.
  • Liaises with vendors to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Evaluates proposed integrations for feasibility, compatibility, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitors system performance, identifies bottlenecks, and implements optimizations to enhance efficiency.
  • Develops and updates policies, procedures, and documentation related to technology usage and administration.

Physical Requirements

This position requires occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year).
