Financial System Administrator As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Secret clearance. This position is based at Mountain Home AFB, ID. The Financial System Administrator provides primary on-site computer systems administration and financial-systems application support to the Nellis AFB Comptroller Squadron. The FSA administers and maintains Government workstations, peripherals, authorized user and account functions, financial applications, telecommunications devices, IT assets, Portal and SharePoint content, and continuity procedures. The FSA receives, documents, prioritizes, resolves, or appropriately escalates customer technical issues; maintains customer communication through closure; and collaborates with ACC FSAs, local Communications Squadron personnel, the Enterprise Service Desk, application help desks, and other Government technical authorities to sustain uninterrupted financial-management operations. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Financial System Administrator: $58,000 - $62,000/yr. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Financial System Administrator Responsibilities Include: * Install, configure, and maintain staff workstations across locations, ensuring compliance with prescribed governance. * Apply patch updates and configuration changes to maintain workstation security and functionality. * Participate in annual training and serve as the Information Assurance Officer (IAO) for the Comptroller Units. * Identify and report network issues or outages to the network help desk for resolution. * Provide hardware and software acquisition recommendations based on analysis of IT needs and resources. * Maintain an inventory of printer consumables and ensure print devices remain operational, including toner replacement. * Advise management on the latest communication and IT technology available through Air Force procurement channels. * Act as Portal content and SharePoint content administrator. * Serve as the Equipment Custodian and Telephone Control Operator (TCO). * Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various financial applications such as ABSS, AFM, DEAMS, and DTS. * Assist Financial System Administrators (FSAs) with application upgrades and maintenance. * Troubleshoot application issues in collaboration with application helpdesks or Communications Units. * Develop continuity procedures for financial applications using MS Office Suite. * Facilitate collaboration among ACC FSAs, maintaining SharePoint and other platforms to share financial application materials. * Manage telecommunications operability, including iPhones, VoIP phones, VTC systems, and other devices. * Add, move, upgrade, or patch PCs and peripheral equipment. * Performs other job-related duties as assigned Financial System Administrator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: * High School Diploma required. * 1-3 years of experience in Information Assurance (IA) technology or related fields. * IA Technician (IAT) Level I Security+ CE certification required. * Experience with financial applications such as: * Automated Business Services System (ABSS) * Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) * Defense Travel System (DTS) * Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Windows, and MS Teams. * Familiarity with Air Force (AF) and Department of Defense (DoD) financial systems and IT equipment accountability programs preferred. * Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds. * Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information: Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is a part of Cherokee Federal - the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
