Ciena is seeking an enablement professional to develop scalable training, content, and resources that strengthen the partner ecosystem. This role drives consistent partner enablement by transforming complex business and technical concepts into modular learning experiences aligned to business priorities. Collaboration across product, technical, marketing, and partner-facing teams is central to maintaining accurate, current, and effective enablement assets.

How you will make an impact:

  • Design scalable toolkits, learning paths, and reusable training materials for partner-facing sales and technical audiences.
  • Create audience-appropriate enablement content that communicates value, positioning, and technical concepts.
  • Deliver coaching, guidance, and reusable resources that enable consistent partner education across internal teams.
  • Identify and apply AI-enabled and digital tools to enhance content creation, planning, quality, and delivery efficiency.
  • Provide templates, guidance, and reusable materials that expand enablement across the partner ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with product, technical, marketing, and partner-facing teams to maintain accurate and current content.
  • Maintain an organized enablement asset library and improve materials using adoption, feedback, and outcome data.

The must haves:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or a related field; relevant technical certifications a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience creating sales, technical, or instructional enablement content for complex communications, networking, technology, or managed service offerings.
  • Experience using AI-enabled and digital tools to create enablement assets, improve productivity, and support adoption.
  • Application of optical networking, communications services, managed services, or partner-led technology offerings.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, modular enablement assets, including content design, writing, and curriculum development.
  • Experience in a train-the-trainer, instructional design, or enablement-coaching capacity.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple enablement initiatives simultaneously.

Pay Range:

The USA salary range for this position, in the USA is: $115,500 - $184,500.00 USD

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
