Job description

Position:  Substitute Assistant Teacher

Program/Department:  Regional Center for Early Learning

Position Length:  Per diem, as needed.  12 month program

Salary Range:  $24.37/hour

Anticipated Start Date: Immediately upon hire

Closing date of applications: Open until filled

Qualifications: Candidates must have as a minimum a Childhood Development (CDA) credential or equivalent (a minimum of 12 college credits semester hours in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or early childhood special education that encompasses the following:  child development and learning of children birth through kindergarten; family and community relationships; observing, documenting, and assessing young children; teaching and learning; and professional practices and development).   See attached job description.
