Gotham Enterprises Ltd is excited to announce an opening for a Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Special Education Program Mental Health Team. Located in Lynchburg, Virginia, our organization emphasizes collaboration and the integration of mental health services within the educational framework, ensuring a holistic approach to student well-being.

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while working within a Hospice Center setting that emphasizes comfort and support. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends as necessary. You will engage closely with a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists in a supportive work environment that values professional development and collaboration.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments tailored to the unique needs of each student with diverse special needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans targeting mental health challenges and emotional growth.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma, ensuring the application of best practices in mental health care.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to foster personal development, emotional regulation, and effective coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals, including educators and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and successful educational integration for students.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
• Educate students and their families about mental health issues and available resources, promoting understanding and connection to services.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records reflect current practices and outcomes.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to contribute to coordinated care strategies and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines that govern social work practices in a special education context.

You will primarily serve students with special needs, including those with ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions. Your role is crucial in promoting emotional and psychological resilience, enabling these students to thrive both academically and socially.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health within educational or therapeutic settings.
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, trauma-informed care practices, and evidence-based treatment methods.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Experience in delivering engaging individual and group therapy sessions.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to act calmly in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, promoting rapport with students and families.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with technology.

• Experience working within educational settings, particularly with special education programs.
• Familiarity with behavioral modification strategies and educational interventions.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer:
