Job Description: Job Summary The Learning and Development (L&D) Trainer plays a key role in supporting employee growth and organizational success by delivering engaging, effective, and impactful learning experiences. This position is responsible for facilitating training programs that build employee knowledge, skills, and confidence while reinforcing the values, service standards, and operational practices that define the Bank’s objectives. The L&D Trainer serves as a trusted resource and partner to employees and leaders across the organization, promoting continuous learning, professional development, and operational excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation, development, and implementation of training materials, curricula, schedules, and learning resources.Develop and maintain training expertise through observation, independent research, continuous learning, and participation in seminars, product reviews, and technical training programs.Coordinate and deliver technical skills training on core banking systems, including Jack Henry applications such as Xperience, ArgoKeys, and related platforms, as well as other business-driven learning programs.Support the development and delivery of training through multiple learning modalities, including instructor-led, virtual, video-based, web-based, and self-paced learning programs.Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions in both classroom and virtual environments.Partner with subject matter experts to design, develop, and deliver training initiatives focused on organizational systems, processes, and operational excellence.Collaborate with Learning & Development team members on instructional design methodologies and the creation of learner-focused training materials.Foster positive, interactive, and engaging learning environments that encourage participation and knowledge retention.Collect, analyze, and evaluate training feedback and course evaluations to measure program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.Recommend and implement approved updates to training materials and programs to enhance learning outcomes and business performance.Promote learning transfer by recommending and utilizing tools, coaching techniques, and reinforcement strategies that support behavioral change and performance improvement.Partner with department leaders and branch management to ensure training content aligns with operational needs, business objectives, and organizational initiatives.Review mystery shop results and provide coaching and development recommendations to improve employee performance and customer service delivery.Develop and utilize instructional aids, including videos, demonstrations, multimedia presentations, computer-based tutorials, and reference materials.Organize and facilitate webinars, training events, speaker engagements, and in-person learning sessions.Provide individualized support through coaching sessions, one-on-one training, and performance development discussions.Serve as a resource to employees by answering questions related to learning programs, training resources, and department initiatives.Travel to branch locations to deliver onsite training, support employee development, and recognize performance achievements.Ensure all training materials remain current and compliant with applicable bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Maintain training-related system access and user IDs for employees participating in training activities.
