Training Manager

The Opportunity:

As a Training Manager, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need an experienced Training Manager like you who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of modernized and multiple legacy maintenance and supply systems. You'll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You'll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Suite and Power BI, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and project analysts.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experiencewith curriculum development

  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting to deliver client work

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or aTraining Systems field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with acquisition related processes and deliverables such as Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, and Jira

  • Experience with Captivate and Storyline

  • Experience with coursework development in the Navy's Content Management Systems (CMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Experience as a Naval Instructor or Master Training Specialist (MTS) and with Navy Schoolhouse Training

  • Knowledge of optimizing information flow and recommending knowledge management solutions

  • Knowledge of the principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and measurement of training effectiveness

  • Knowledge of selecting and using training and instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information and ideas to support informal and formal forums so others from various backgrounds and experience levels will understand

  • Ability to operate within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple programs concurrently, and observe, receive, analyze, and obtain information and data from all relevant sources

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
