THE WORK
The Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) TPY-4 sub market segment supports the development, production, delivery, and aftermarket support of all TPY-4 radar systems. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage domestic radar programs from contract award through system sell off and aftermarket support.
This role has P&L responsibility for delivering on all contractual and financial commitments. The program manager will also work closely with business development to grow the overall portfolio and ensure that customer expectations are met.
The program manager will work closely with operations and supply chain to ensure programs are executable and with other sustainment program managers to ensure alignment across the wide customer base.
The position will require a broad interface with multiple disciplines including capture management, business development, global sustainment, engineering, supply chain, operations, fleet management, field service representatives, logistics support, and technical publications.
Relationship building skills are essential for this role and the ability to build strong relationships across various cultural boundaries will be critical to success.
The ability to manage complex, projects with multiple inter-dependencies is also required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with personnel / customers ranging from inexperienced employees through General or Executive Leadership level and demonstrate strong customer relationships at every level.
