About the Role
As the Manager, Sales Development, you will be the architect of our BDR engine. Reporting to the Director, Sales & Business Development, you will lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team responsible for driving our growth. This role is unique because you aren't just managing a team; you are building and formalizing the end-to-end workflow, from inbound response to outbound prospecting and expansion. You’ll have the opportunity to audit and optimize our tech stack (Salesforce, intent data, and sales engagement tools) while fostering a coaching culture that turns BDRs into future sales leaders.

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the following key areas:
  • BDR Workflow Design: Define and implement playbooks for inbound, outbound, and expansion motions to ensure team consistency and scalability.
  • Strategic Leadership: Own and exceed pipeline generation and lead conversion quotas through daily oversight and structured team accountability.
  • Tech Stack Ownership: Audit and optimize BDR tools (CRM, prospecting, and intent data) to ensure the team is operating at peak efficiency.
  • Talent Development: Accelerate rep performance through structured onboarding, live call shadowing, cadence audits, and impactful 1:1 coaching.
  • Vertical Strategy: Partner with leadership to refine vertical segmentation and rep specialization as the team scales.
  • Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to ensure seamless lead hand-offs and maintain a tight feedback loop on lead quality and ICP standards.

What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who brings some or all of the following:
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing a BDR or inside sales team with a proven track record of hitting quotas.
  • Process Architecture: Demonstrated success building or formalizing BDR workflows from the ground up.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern BDR tooling, specifically Salesforce and sales engagement/intent platforms.
  • Coaching Mindset: A passion for developing talent, from onboarding new hires to elevating the performance of seasoned reps.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to build and interpret pipeline reports, conversion metrics, and activity dashboards.

Perks & Benefits
In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of perks that support your growth, wellbeing, and day-to-day flexibility. Here’s what you can look forward to:
  • Generous Vacation: We offer 15 days of annual vacation (pro-rated for your first year), plus additional paid leave during our scheduled summer and winter holiday closures.
  • Personal Time: Take care of what matters with 5 paid personal days and 3 unpaid personal days annually
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Access to health and dental benefits after just 3 months of employment
  • Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid work environment
  • Performance Bonus Program: Recognizing your impact with bonus opportunities tied to company and individual performance
  • Learning & Development Support: We invest in your growth with a dedicated L&D budget and coverage for platforms like LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, Codecademy, and more
  • Community Impact: We empower you to give back with 8 hours of paid volunteer time annually, allowing you to support the causes and nonprofits that matter most to you.
  • A Great Team: Work with genuinely kind, smart, and talented people who love what they do (and know how to have fun doing it).

However, this position requires one in-office day per month on pre-set dates, during which all company employees are expected to attend. Our office is located at 100 Dundas Street, London, Ontario.
