What you’ll be doing 

As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will support the planning, coordination, administration, and delivery of learning and development initiatives across Options For All. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, this position coordinates onboarding, maintains the Learning Management System (LMS), schedules and tracks employee training, facilitates select training sessions, and supports the day-to-day administration of learning programs. 

This position partners closely with Human Resources, program leadership, and the Learning & Development Manager to support employee growth and development while advancing OFA’s mission, core values, Wellness For All, and commitment to being a Best Place to Work. 

In this role, you will: 

Learning Administration & Coordination 

  • Coordinate all training logistics, including scheduling, enrollment, communications, room reservations, virtual meeting setup, training materials, and attendance tracking. 

  • Maintain the Learning Management System (Absorb LMS), including course assignments, user accounts, training records, and basic troubleshooting. 

  • Assign required training to employees through the Learning Management System (LMS) and communicate training requirements, instructions, and completion deadlines. 

  • Maintain the organizational training calendar and communicate upcoming training opportunities. 

  • Assist with maintaining and regularly updating the organizational training tracker to ensure employee assignments, completion status, due dates, and outstanding training requirements are accurately documented. 

  • Track required compliance training and follow up with employees and managers to support timely completion. 

  • Prepare routine training reports and maintain accurate training records. 

  • Assist with maintaining learning resources, training materials, and standard operating procedures. 

Training Delivery & Facilitation 

  • Coordinate and assist with New Team Member Orientation and other instructor-led training sessions. 

  • Support virtual and in-person training programs by preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and assisting facilitators. 

  • Develop and update participant guides, presentations, job aids, and other training resources. 

  • Assist with maintaining e-learning content and ensuring training materials remain current and aligned with organizational policies and procedures. 

  • Gather employee feedback and assist with updating training materials. 

  • Support learning initiatives and special projects as assigned.

What we’re looking for 

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and ready to make a positive impact. 

Education 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Experience 

  • One to two years of experience in learning and development, training coordination, education, human resources, or a related field. 

  • Experience with a Learning Management System (Absorb LMS preferred). 

  • Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and presentation skills with excellent attention to detail. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual learning platforms. 

  • Experience in a nonprofit or human services environment preferred. 

  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred 

Conditions of Employment 

  • 21 years of age or older 

  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record are required for this role. 

  • This role requires travel within the region where services are provided. 

  • Final candidates must successfully complete a background check. 

Physical Demands & Work Environment 

This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. The employee must be capable of writing, using a computer keyboard, telephone and related office equipment. Ability to lift 10lbs. required.
