Job description

Job Description

The Operations Manager, Field Programs is responsible for operational execution and project management of Aramark's field leadership development programs Foundational Leadership Program (FLP), Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) and Strategic Leadership Program (SLP). This role drives process optimization, standardization, and scalability to support global expansion of field programs. The Operations Manager supports the Director, Learning & Leadership Development, providing strategic support on cross-program initiatives, data management, and reporting. A person who will be well-prepared to succeed in this role will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously across a matrixed organization. 

This position will report to the Director, Learning & Leadership Development and is based in Aramark's Headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Limited travel may be required and is not expected to exceed 25%. 

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead operational execution of FLP, ALP, and SLP programs including project planning, timeline management, and cross-functional coordination. 
  • Serve as project management owner across all field programs; develop project plans, track milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery 
  • Drive process optimization and standardization across field programs to support scalability and global expansion 
  • Manage data collection for field programs including survey results, registration and completion rates, NPS scores, and program metrics 
  • Partner with the Specialist, Learning and Development on logistics execution and provide operational direction and support 
  • Provide strategic support to the Director on special projects, cross-program initiatives, and stakeholder communications 
  • Partner with LMS team on data integration, reporting, and system optimization for field programs 
  • Support global expansion efforts by documenting processes, creating scalable templates, and building operational infrastructure 
  • Support budget tracking and expense management for field programs including chargebacks and financial reporting 
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and communications to ensure alignment across stakeholders 
  • Identify operational risks and issues; escalate to Director with recommended solutions 
  • Partner directly with the Senior Manager, Learning and Development on project management and scaling of FLP, ALP and SLP.  
Qualifications
  • Five or more years of professional experience in project management, operations, or program coordination; experience in learning and development or HR operations preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities 
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain quality under tight deadlines 
  • Ability to influence without formal authority within peer group and with key stakeholders 
  • Experience with data management and reporting, ability to translate data into actionable insights 
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills using analytics, judgment, and interpretation based on available information 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while knowing when to escalate issues 
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and coordinating across multiple functions
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience 

Preferred Skills 

  • PMP or similar project management certification 
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms 
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, leadership competency frameworks, and facilitation best practices
