Job description

Please Note:

To provide the best candidate experience amidst our high application volumes, each candidate is limited to 10 applications across all open jobs within a 6-month period.

Advancing the World’s Technology Together

Our technology solutions power the tools you use every day--including smartphones, electric vehicles, hyperscale data centers, IoT devices, and so much more. Here, you’ll have an opportunity to be part of a global leader whose innovative designs are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and powering the future.

We believe innovation and growth are driven by an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce. We’re dedicated to empowering people to be their true selves. Together, we’re building a better tomorrow for our employees, customers, partners, and communities.

The Talent Development & Engagement (TDE) team empowers our people to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. This individual contributor role sits within the Business Enablement pillar, reporting to the Director of Talent Development & Engagement, and connects L&D to the business — uncovering capability gaps and turning them into learning solutions that drive results.

We are seeking a Learning & Development Manager who is equal parts consultant and builder: deep instructional design expertise, a problem-solver's mindset, genuine curiosity about the business, and the agility to move fast as priorities shift. You will partner directly with senior leaders and executives to diagnose needs, then design and deliver creative, customized solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, executives, and HRBPs — leading intake conversations and getting to the root cause of capability gaps.
  • Conduct needs assessments through interviews, data, and performance insights; recommend the right solution, whether training or not.
  • Develop deep fluency in the workflows, roles, and business challenges of the teams you support.
  • Design highly customized learning strategies that solve each team's specific business problems — not one-size-fits-all training.
  • Build enablement programs end-to-end — product training curricula, sales kick-offs, negotiations and contract best practices, capability workshops and more — with a primary focus on Sales & Marketing and Staff organizations.
  • Develop learning experiences across multiple modalities (workshops, e-learning, microlearning, toolkits, AI-enabled tools), grounded in adult learning principles.
  • Build scalable toolkits, templates, and playbooks teams can use independently.
  • Partner with SMEs, vendors, and speakers to source and deliver high-quality content.
  • Facilitate workshops and learning experiences, virtually and in person, with strong executive presence.
  • Communicate and promote programs and resources to drive awareness, adoption, and impact.
  • Collaborate with the broader L&D team and adjacent Business Enablement tracks to keep solutions aligned and consistent.
  • Measure outcomes and stakeholder feedback; use data to iterate and improve.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose Headquarters in alignment with our Flexible Work policy Reports to: Director Learning and Development

What You Bring
  • 10+ years in Learning & Development or business enablement, with a track record of building programs from the ground up.
  • Strong instructional design expertise and command of training delivery methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Proven ability to consult with and influence senior leaders — translating ambiguous business needs into clear, creative solutions.
  • Agility and comfort with ambiguity; you reprioritize quickly and deliver at pace amid constant change.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills across all levels and functions.
  • Experience managing vendors and external training partners to deliver scalable programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., HR, HRD, Organizational Development, Learning Sciences) preferred; higher education or relevant certifications a plus.
