Location: This role requires associates to be in-office1 - 2days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Learning Consultant is responsible for partnering with business leaders, managing projects, and designing impactful learning solutions that support a fast-paced business environment.

How you will make an impact:

  • Conducts need analysis and evaluate effectiveness of learning solutions. Leads Learning & Development initiatives involving multiple associates.
  • Manages small to medium sized projects, markets, or initiatives.
  • Partners with clients on project charters, scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budgets, and timing to ensure project success.
  • Tracks and reports on project milestones.
  • Manages project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved.
  • Determines if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete the project plan and may assist in recruiting and managing appropriate vendor resources.
  • Applies human performance improvement principles and consults with business unit management and Learning & Development management to improve business performance.
  • May conduct training or develop instructional or reference content as necessary to ensure timely and accurate implementation of performance solutions.
  • Develops working relationships with internal and external team members.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS degree in business, education, instructional design, or other learning discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience, including minimum of 3 years of project management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities & Experiences:

  • 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or Human Performance Improvement is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional learning initiatives and managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proven ability to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders to define project objectives, success metrics, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Strong consulting and relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Experience developing and delivering instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and self-paced learning solutions.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or similar), and learning evaluation models such as Kirkpatrick.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors, consultants, and contract resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide change management or organizational transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or other highly regulated industries preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $88,088 to $144,144
