About the Role

Clever Bee Academy is seeking a caring, dependable Assistant Teacher to support classroom learning and help create a safe, nurturing environment for children. In this role, you'll work closely with the Lead Teacher to support daily activities, classroom organization, and positive relationships with families. This is a great opportunity for someone beginning or growing their career in early childhood education.

What You'll Do
  • Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
  • Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
  • Supervise children during daily routines, outdoor play, and center activities
  • Communicate positively and professionally with families to support relationships and share updates
  • Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and materials
  • Use strong communication, organization, and child development skills to support daily learning experiences
Required Qualifications
  • 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
