Work Location9820 Leavenworth Rd, Kansas City, KS 66109Job OverviewThis position is responsible for supporting leadership by developing and delivering training for production associates on current and new products, ensuring all quality standards and operating procedures are understood and followed. The Training Associate serves as a communication bridge across teams, advocating continuous improvement by promoting quality assurance, safety, and productivity in all departments.Highlights of your roleย 
  • Lead and facilitate new employee orientation sessions, supporting an inclusive onboarding experience and ensuring comprehension of organizational policies, benefits, and culture.
  • Responsible for cross-training associates on products by delivering instruction and support, with progress measured through cross-training metrics.
  • Assist leadership in developing and executing training plans for new associates to ensure comprehension and successful onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records related to cross-training, quality notifications, safety, toolbox talks, and other training activities.
  • Review quality data daily to identify training gaps and opportunities, providing bilingual coaching and reinforcement as needed.
  • Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) developed by engineering and reinforce understanding through instruction and hands-on training.
  • Assist engineering with process development for new products and changes to existing processes by supporting training implementation on the production floor.
  • Ensure quality standards are consistently followed and maintained by providing ongoing guidance and corrective training.
  • Assist with in-process manufacturing audits by supporting associates with clarification of procedures and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors to create and maintain a work environment that promotes company values, accountability, and performance, supported through communication.
  • Support Supervisors in managing employee performance by offering formative feedback and developmental coaching.
  • Communicate safety requirements and conduct safety training to ensure associates are properly trained on equipment, power hand tools, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Maintain responsibility for departmental paperwork and documentation, ensuring required training and performance data is accurately recorded.

  • Two years of relatedย experience, or an equivalent combination of educationย andย ย experienceย is strongly preferredย
