Senior Partnership Marketing Associate

Hamster Garage

Charleston, WV โ€ข Remote

Full-time

Posted 10 days ago

Job description

HG Overview

Hamster Garage is a partnership management agency. We manage the partnerships and affiliates channel for the world's most ambitious brands. This includes affiliate marketing but also brand partnerships, podcasts, influencer marketing, etc. We work with leading brands like Canva, Uber, Tesla, Slack, Xero, InVideo, etc., and are in a high growth phase. We are looking to add team members to grow with the agency and want you to help us leave our mark on the industry!

Role Overview

We are looking to hire a Senior Associate to staff our accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of affiliate marketing experience and should be able to work well in a team environment. This is a remote role based in USA. This role will assist in driving meaningful growth through traditional and unique opportunities for leading global brands.

This is an exciting and critical position in building and scaling user acquisition with a top-tier agency in the growth stage. The Senior Associate will have exposure to many different aspects of Partnership Marketing and overall company building in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in affiliate/partnership marketing. Agency experience is a plus.

  • Comfortable working directly with data — pulling reports, spotting trends, and translating numbers into a story.

  • Strong written and verbal communication; you're comfortable on client calls and confident putting together clear, professional recaps.

  • A proactive mindset; you look for the next thing to own rather than waiting to be assigned.

  • Genuine curiosity about the affiliate marketing landscape and a drive to keep learning.

  • Someone who "closes the loop". You follow things through to resolution rather than letting them drift.

  • Comfortable with Google Spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel. We work with a lot of data and need to be able to extrapolate and summarize data to optimize and make decisions to present to our clients.

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint. There will be many instances that require presenting our work to clients, which will require creating decks as client deliverables.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

What You Will Do

Program Execution & Client Work

  • Support the day-to-day planning and execution of affiliate marketing campaigns, including placement collateral, tracking, client sign-off, and interface updates for publisher payments.

  • Take on complex project management responsibilities — organizing timelines, assisting with resource allocation, and helping ensure deliverables are met.

  • Prepare performance reports and maintain ongoing communication with affiliates to support client objectives.

  • Independently lead publisher calls, delivering clear next steps and key takeaways afterward.

  • Manage campaigns end-to-end: recruitment, optimization, partner communication, and launch assets.

Client Relationships

  • Build strong client relationships through regular email and phone interaction, with moderate support from your manager or team lead.

  • Deepen your understanding of client accounts — key challenges, objectives, and industry trends — by actively asking questions and identifying opportunities to improve performance.

Data & Reporting

  • Take an active role in data analysis — identifying trends and insights that contribute to data-driven decisions.

  • Get comfortable navigating Impact or similar affiliate program management platforms.

  • Develop client-facing reports and write-ups.

  • Assist with the development of client presentations, including note-taking and follow-ups.

Problem Solving

  • Take on ownership of client issues, working closely with senior team members and Account Directors to resolve them efficiently.

  • Escalate proactively and use available resources to keep resolution timelines tight.

Why Work With Hamster Garage?

A place where ambition meets impact. HG brings an in-house marketing incubation team approach to Partnership Marketing. We exist because our founder worked internally for one of the largest tech hospitality brands in the world and worked with the top agencies in the space, but couldn’t find the talent necessary to meet the highest standards required by the best brands.

Our mission is to provide best-in-class service and quality to our clients through top-tier talent and strategy. If you join our team, you’ll be part of a fast-growing team that is passionate about marketing and be able to make an impact on not only your clients but the company.

We’re small enough that you will be part of special projects and task forces to help build the company while working on client portfolios for some of the fastest-growing brands in the world and helping them cultivate strategies on how to acquire users.
