Job description

The Business Development Operations Coordinator supports Learning Care's Business Development team by owning the systems, data, and vendor infrastructure that keep the B2B pipeline running. This role serves as the team's day-to-day administrator for the BD tool stack - including Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Power BI, Kalibrate, and related platforms - maintaining data integrity, managing lead flow, and producing the reporting that informs executive decision-making.

In addition to systems ownership, the Coordinator manages the contracts and renewals for the team's external vendor stack and provides research, reporting, and meeting-prep support to Business Development Managers as they pursue onsite, funded child care, back-up care, and dedicated space opportunities. This role operates with a bias toward action, strong attention to detail, and a high standard for follow-through.

Essential Responsibilities
Systems Administration

  • Serve as the team's primary administrator for the BD CRM and marketing automation platforms (including Salesforce), covering user management, report and dashboard creation, field upkeep, workflow configuration, and overall data integrity.
  • Own day-to-day administration of the team's prospecting, market intelligence, and analytics tools (including ZoomInfo, Power BI, and Kalibrate) - managing user access, configuring views, and ensuring data flows cleanly between systems.
  • Manage all lead flow and assignment rules within the CRM, ensuring leads are routed to the appropriate Business Development Manager without delay.
  • Coordinate data gathered across the team's market intelligence and analytics platforms to qualify leads and surface high-priority opportunities.

Vendor and Contract Management

  • Manage external vendor relationships across the BD tool stack, including CRM, marketing automation, prospecting, and analytics platforms.
  • Own the contract lifecycle for these vendors - tracking renewal dates, coordinating with Legal and Procurement on terms, monitoring usage against contracted seats and limits, and surfacing recommendations ahead of renewal.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor agreements, pricing, and points of contact, and serve as the internal escalation point for vendor support issues.

Reporting and Pipeline Support

  • Produce executive reporting for the business unit, including funnel tracking and pipeline reports.
  • Manage zip code analysis, funnel tracking, and market intelligence reporting on a recurring cadence.
  • Summarize opportunities and prepare materials for recurring deal review meetings.

Business Development Support

  • Perform market and prospect research as requested and assist Business Development Managers in preparing for prospect meetings and presentations.
  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns to build awareness of Learning Care's Employer Sponsored brand and product brands.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge across Learning Care Group's Employer Sponsored Solutions.
  • Ad-hoc projects as requested by the Director, Business Development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales operations, business development support, CRM administration, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience administering Salesforce or a comparable CRM - including report building, field configuration, and data hygiene.
  • Experience working with sales and marketing enablement tools, such as prospecting databases (e.g., ZoomInfo) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Proficiency with business analytics tools, such as Power BI or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships or contract renewals preferred.
  • Knowledge of the childcare industry or related experience preferred but not required.

Key Competencies

  • Strong systems and data orientation - comfort living inside CRMs, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Attention to detail and a high standard for data integrity and follow-through.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, including with external vendors.
  • Organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
  • Collaboration and cross-functional teamwork across Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Operations.
  • Proactive support mindset - anticipates what the team needs before being asked.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid.
    • $65-80,000 base salary.
    • This position is also eligible for our Support Central bonus program which is based on annual achievement of company performance.
