Job Summary:

The Partner Training Specialist owns and operates OpenEye's channel partner and customer education programs - managing the full lifecycle of training content, certification, and live webinar delivery. This role is equal parts program manager, content creator, and product champion. The ideal candidate brings deep enthusiasm for technology and a genuine drive to help partners and end users understand, adopt, and get the most out of OpenEye's products and services. Success is measured by the quality, consistency, and reach of the training program and by the ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling education across multiple formats and platforms.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Produce training courses, certification programs, and testing material for OpenEye products and services for online distribution to internal and external customers.
  • Collect data and report on training utilization and effectiveness; recommend and implement improvements based on organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate and produce video FAQs on trending support and product issues.
  • Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to ensure training content aligns with product positioning, visual brand standards, and release communications - reinforcing OpenEye's value proposition across every training touchpoint.
  • Own and manage the biweekly partner webinar program (Tech Sessions), including topic planning, content development, platform setup, partner communications, and post-session publishing - serving as the primary host and product education facilitator for each live event.
  • Assist in developing and presenting onsite training to corporate and field locations.
  • Plan, script, record, and edit product training videos using screen recording and video editing software, and distribute finished content across the LMS, video hosting platform, and knowledge base - always with a focus on clearly communicating product value to the viewer.
  • Build and maintain SCORM-compliant interactive coursework using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, including quiz design, pass rate configuration, and distribution through the LMS and partner content delivery platforms.
  • Maintain and update training and education pages within the OpenEye Knowledge Base, including self-guided learning paths and post-session content.
  • Manage recurring partner communications including monthly certification reporting to partner organizations and monitoring of the training inbox.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in training or managing or operating a training program, including content development and delivery across multiple formats and platforms.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and SCORM-based authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline); experience building interactive e-learning content preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with a Learning Management System (Skilljar preferred) and webinar platforms (Zoom); familiarity with SCORM content delivery and LMS administration.
  • Experience with video production and screen recording tools (e.g., Camtasia) for creating polished product education content. AI tools a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across a diverse set of perspectives and areas of expertise.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple recurring programs and competing deadlines.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for technology and a drive to develop deep product knowledge - with the ability to translate that knowledge into compelling education that helps partners and end users understand and champion OpenEye's solutions.
  • Understanding of VMS, a plus.

Perks at OpenEye:

  • The pay for this opportunity is $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
