Job description


Shenandoah University's Department of Nursing is accepting applications for a Nursing Faculty- Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor- Campus Learning Lab Coordinator. This is a full-time benefited position located at our Loudoun location.
This position is a 12-month faculty appointment. The Campus Learning Lab Coordinator teaches assigned courses and oversees the operations and maintenance of campus learning labs, including supervision of faculty and assistants. The Campus Learning Lab Coordinator will fulfill teaching, service, and scholarship responsibilities in the School of Nursing.

The Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing aims to empower lifelong learners who provide evidence-based compassionate care to promote wellness for all. The Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The Nurse-Midwifery program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME). Shenandoah University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
The School of Nursing offers baccalaureate (4-year traditional, transfer, and accelerated second degree options), Masters (Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Nurse Midwifery (NM), Post Graduate Certificates (FNP, PMHNP, NM), and Doctorate of Nurse Practice (DNP) programs. The School of Nursing has two physical locations: Winchester Main Campus and Loudoun, and Graduate programs are offered online with onsite campus immersions.
Required Experience
  • Education: Master of Science in Nursing with Virginia RN Licensure required, doctoral degree preferred
  • Experience: Academic experience preferred
