Job description

Welcome to Sendero. Welcome to How.
Few question why an enterprise should better serve customers, make their workforce more productive, or drive growth to new heights. Why can excite and inspire. But why is a reason, not a solution. To make progress and projects possible with tangible business impact, why needs solutions. Why needs how. How is the business we are in.
At Sendero, we exist to unleash the potential of our company, clients, and community. As a Learning and Development Manager, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of firmwide learning initiatives. This role oversees training across the employee lifecycle - including onboarding, promotion readiness, and role-based skill development - while aligning closely to business priorities and consulting skill needs.
This individual will manage a team, partner with firm leadership, and help evolve Sendero's skills inventory and upskilling strategy. This is a high-impact role shaping how a growing consulting firm develops its talent.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own and evolve Sendero's learning strategy aligned to business priorities
  • Oversee core curricula (onboarding, promotion training, role-based development, management team training)
  • Partner with leadership to achieve talent development goals
  • Identify skill gaps and deliver targeted learning solutions
  • Guide development of scalable, high-impact learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles
  • Facilitate training for management team audiences
  • Lead and develop a team of talent development professionals
  • Support and advance skills inventory and upskilling efforts
  • Manage learning platforms, external vendors, and research tools
  • Leverage AI tools to improve learning design, delivery, and efficiency
  • Measure effectiveness and continuously improve learning programs
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Required:
  • 5+ years in learning & development (design, development, facilitation)
  • Corporate training experience
  • Experience leading or supervising a team
  • Strong foundation in adult learning best practices
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable learning solutions
  • Experience managing learning tools and vendors
Preferred:
  • Professional services/consulting experience
  • Experience building structured curricula across career stages
  • Experience with skills frameworks or workforce upskilling initiatives
  • Experience leveraging AI tools in learning & development
  • Excellent critical thinking and logical processing skills

WHAT WE OFFER
At Sendero, we prioritize the well-being of the whole individual. We are committed to supporting our people in every moment that matters on their journey with us! We are pleased to offer a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support overall well-being, provide valuable benefits and incentives, and help our people plan for the future.
We take pride in offering a comprehensive benefits package for our full-time employees, encompassing healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan with an employer match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and various paid holidays, among other perks.
Sendero is an equal opportunity employer.
