Job description

Summary of Job Description:

The Learning & Development Trainer position is located in Rosemead, CA and is responsible for conducting training programs, seminars, and conferences for Operations and Support Center associates. This position facilitates GO classes and assists with monitoring and evaluating training program effectiveness. This position also assists with providing feedback on GO participant performance


Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts training programs, seminars, and conferences for Operations and Support Center associates. Delivers training materials for GO, UOP, and special seminar classes. Stays current on learning trends and approaches to incorporate in Learning & Development offerings.
  • Assists with monitoring and evaluating training program effectiveness based on feedback and other evaluation techniques to ensure participants are absorbing the course content and able to apply it. 
  • Presents information in courses using a variety of instructional techniques and formats in order to ensure the information is understood and absorbed by participants.
  • Assists in evaluating GO participant performance in courses and provides feedback and coaching throughout the course and at its conclusion. 


Work Environment:

  • Office conditions

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, or related field. 
  • Minimum three years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment, may include Operations TL experience.
  • Bilingual Japanese or Korean preferred.
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required training
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.


Pay Range: P2: $72,500 - $101,500

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
