Job Summary

The Learning & Development Associate is a position responsible for the administration and coordination of daily activities to support all Learning & Development initiatives, including the company learning management system (LMS).  This position works with colleagues in various departments and teams to ensure accurate training records, materials, and resources in the delivery, maintenance, and support of employee learning and development.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the management, administration, functionality, and usability of the Learning Management System. 
  • Complete various data-entry workflows to ensure data within the LMS is up to date, accurate, and accessible.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure accuracy of information within the LMS.
  • Gather, analyze, and assess data within the LMS to generate and publish training reports for compliance purposes and management utilization.
  • Communicate and distribute reporting to operations leaders related to training data.
  • Provide support for craft apprentice programs to include all process workflows from applications to tracking and logging of craft hours, analyzing and reporting on stats. Working with Department of Labor and Veterans Affairs software platforms for registration and maintenance of apprentice records.
  • Assist the Department Manager and other Learning and Development staff with daily operational needs.
  • Assist in team review of training content, e-learning courses, and materials as requested.
  • Assist in testing and deploying new learning technologies.
  • Assist as needed on team projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with LMS software.
  • Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Tools, specifically Excel (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Teams), and knowledge of visual design tools (e.g., Adobe Pro, Photoshop, Canva).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team across multiple locations; very strong employee focus.
  • Ability to self-manage activities and projects based on given priorities.
  • Ability to work within and meet/exceed deadlines. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources/Training setting.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience with program management.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
