Instructional Systems Designer (Learning & Development) - (Hybrid, Littleton, CO)

We are looking for an Instructional Systems Designer (Learning & Development) for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will design and develop end-to-end training programs using instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE), collaborating with subject matter experts to create effective learning solutions and evaluate training effectiveness across the organization.

This is a 12 -month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is a Hybrid role in Littleton, CO.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Instructional Systems Designer/ The Instructional Systems Designer, will play a critical role in supporting the Space Instructional Systems Design team with development of learning and training products for our quality and HR business units.
  • This position is responsible for applying instructional systems design methodologies to ensure the effective development of instructional material, training implementation, project schedule tracking, and training evaluation.
     

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • 3+ Years of experience as Instructional Systems Designer for Learning and Training programs.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once working with course developers, customer stakeholders and subject matter experts do deliver effective training.
  • Experience developing training programs that exhibit end-to-end thinking (strategy, scope, analysis, budget estimates, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks).
  • Apply industry-recognized instructional design methodologies, such as ADDIE and adult learning, to ensure the development of high-quality training products.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop training content, including instructor-led training, online courses, and upskilling materials.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/actions by prioritize, manage disruptions and completing tasks in a timely manner; ability to assess appropriate urgency with tasks.
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree

Desired Skills:

  • Experience developing learning content based on consultancy outcomes.
  • Experience providing learning design guidance and support to team SMEs on the implementation of best practices for learning design.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, MS Office, Articulate Suite (articulate 360, Rise), TechSmith Suite (Camtasia, Snag it), Evolve, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Captivate), Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira, Trello).
  • Experience producing enterprise-wide and program-level training solutions.
  • Experience with developing methods for the evaluation of learning & training program effectiveness.
  • Ability to understand technical material, processes, and cultures for purposes of learning & training solutions.
  • Experience in identifying, managing complex group dynamics, and reacting in real-time to changes in content, priorities, and/or process.
