Job description

Summary
The Director of Marketing will lead the strategic vision, brand storytelling, and go-to-market execution for the Specialty Play Group's portfolio of brands, including Play & Park Structures, UltraPlay, and Freenotes Harmony Park as well as the leading distributors for these brands. This highly collaborative leader will bring fresh thinking, strong marketing discipline, and a passion for creating engaging experiences that elevate brand visibility, increase lead generation, grow market share, strengthen customer engagement, and drive revenue across multiple channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Champion the Company's mission and values-based culture by developing compelling marketing materials that inspire customers, support sales growth, and strengthen the Specialty Play Group's market position.
  2. Lead website strategy and digital experience initiatives across the brand portfolio, including new site development, content updates, performance improvements, and ongoing optimization.
  3. Drive HubSpot marketing activity and broader digital marketing efforts that support lead generation, customer engagement, campaign execution, and measurable business results.
  4. Develop creative quarterly promotional campaigns and brand-building initiatives that energize the marketplace, support distributor and sales teams, and encourage consistent order flow throughout the year.
  5. Plan and execute high-impact new product launch campaigns, including creative collateral, website content, photography, video, media outreach, press releases, and sales enablement tools.
  6. Create and oversee valuable, brand-focused content for the Company's digital presence, including websites, social media, editorial content, email marketing, and other customer-facing communications.
  7. Monitor campaign performance, promotional activity, and marketing outcomes to identify opportunities, confirm ROI, and continuously improve results.
  8. Develop, manage, and optimize the marketing expense budget for the brand portfolio, ensuring resources are aligned with strategic priorities and business objectives.
  9. Partner with and support training for the CAD team to merchandising and programs are understood and effectively implemented in support of sales team design requests.
  10. Own and lead social media strategy and execution across the Specialty Play Group brand channels.
  11. Participate in Design Room meetings to bring a marketing perspective to the creative process and support custom design requests from the sales team.
  12. Collaborate with the Director of Product Development to create engaging presentations and launch materials for new product introductions, including sell sheets, imagery, PowerPoint presentations, and supporting sales tools.
  13. Direct advertising efforts and product photography for the brand portfolio to ensure strong, consistent, and visually compelling brand representation.
  14. Provide merchandising direction and launch planning for trade shows, customer events, and other opportunities to showcase products and strengthen brand engagement.
  15. Lead annual product catalog planning and design direction to communicate product stories clearly, creatively, and effectively across the brand portfolio and digital platforms.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Marketing or related field, Master's preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access and other web based computer programs.
