With a strong foundation of client relationships, acquisitions, and growth potential, we are in the process of standing up new systems, processes, and controls to support our next phase of expansion. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the tax infrastructure of a high-growth platform from the ground up.
Summary: The Talent Management & Development Specialist plays a key role in strengthening organizational capability, driving performance, and operationalizing compliance-related learning initiatives across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this position designs and delivers impactful development programs while partnering closely with Legal and HR leadership to execute compliance training requirements effectively and consistently. This role blends strategic program development with hands-on execution - supporting performance management processes, leadership development initiatives, and regulatory training programs that ensure employees are equipped to succeed while the organization remains aligned with applicable standards and policies.
What You'll Do
Design & Deliver Learning & Development Programs
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs aligned with business priorities and organizational needs.
  • Facilitate learning sessions for managers and employees when needed.
  • Build and continuously improve onboarding and new manager training programs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify skill gaps and design targeted development initiatives.
  • Develop scalable learning resources including toolkits, guides, and digital learning materials.

Execute Compliance Training Initiatives
  • Partner with Legal and HR leadership to translate compliance requirements into structured, trackable training programs.
  • Manage the administration, tracking, and reporting of required compliance training (e.g., harassment prevention, code of conduct, data privacy, and regulatory standards).
  • Ensure timely completion of required training across employee populations and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Support updates to training content in alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Provide reporting and insights to leadership regarding compliance training participation and risk areas.

Support Talent Management & Performance Processes
  • Partner with leadership to support performance management processes, including goal-setting cycles and annual reviews.
  • Assist in maintaining talent review frameworks, succession planning processes, and development planning tools.
  • Create resources that support career pathing and internal mobility.
  • Analyze performance and engagement data to identify development opportunities and recommend action plans.
  • Support leadership development initiatives aligned with organizational growth.

Enable Systems & Reporting Excellence
  • Partner with HRIS to maintain learning and talent modules within Workday or LMS platforms.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of training completion, certifications, and development activities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that measure participation, effectiveness, and talent outcomes.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and employee experience within talent processes.

Promote a Culture of Growth & Accountability
  • Champion a learning culture that reinforces continuous development and performance accountability.
  • Support managers in delivering meaningful feedback and development conversations.
  • Align learning initiatives with broader HR and business strategies.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in learning & development, talent management, HR compliance, or a related HR function.
  • Experience designing and facilitating training programs (virtual and in-person).
  • Experience managing compliance-related training programs and tracking completion metrics.
  • Experience supporting performance management and talent review processes.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or LMS platforms (Workday experience preferred).
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to operate independently within a lean, fast-paced environment.

We're proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and more. The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
