Position Overview

Delectus is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager with a recruiting or staffing background to drive growth across Staffing, Executive Search, and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) services.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the recruiting industry, enjoys building client relationships, and is motivated by high earning potential. The Business Development Manager will focus on generating new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding Delectus’ client portfolio nationwide.

The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and comfortable engaging with hiring managers, operations leaders, HR executives, and decision-makers across manufacturing, industrial, construction, environmental, engineering, renewable energy, and professional services industries.

This is a high-upside, commission-driven opportunity with uncapped earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities for Staffing, Executive Search, and RPO services
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, operations leadership, and executives
  • Conduct outbound business development through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, email outreach, and cold calling
  • Identify workforce challenges and position Delectus solutions strategically
  • Schedule and lead discovery meetings with prospective clients
  • Develop proposals, pricing discussions, and service agreements
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction
  • Maintain and manage a pipeline of active opportunities
  • Track activity, opportunities, and sales progress within CRM/ATS systems
  • Represent Delectus professionally within target industries and networking environments

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, executive search, or workforce solutions
  • Prior business development or account management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of recruiting operations and hiring processes
  • Proven ability to build relationships and generate business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and developing business from scratch
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and sense of urgency
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, construction, environmental, or related industries preferred
