The Gartner Finance Leadership Intern will join our Finance team. It is a team with the vision to be valued business partners with the recognized breadth, depth and experience to thoroughly understand Gartner's diverse business operating models, articulate the drivers of both operational and financial performance, and anticipate the financial impact of strategic decisions while simultaneously delivering world-class financial management expertise across the organization.

Interns gain valuable on-the-job experience indifferent functionswithin Gartner's finance organization including:

  • FinancialPlanning & Analysis, Corporate Planning & Analysis, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Investor Relations,TransferPricing,Real Estate,Special Projects, Treasury

The Internship will include/develop:

  • Exposure to senior finance leaders, senior business unit leaders and executive management as part of cross-functional project teams

  • A network of contacts and relationships throughout the organization

  • A broad understanding of the organization's business units and operations

  • Exposure to / experience with key financial and business systems

  • Both an understanding of the issues involved in managing a complex and multifaceted global organization, and experience in designing and implementing solutions to these challenges

  • A strong foundationoftechnicalfinance and accounting skills

Requirements:

  • Ability to solve complex problems in ambiguous environments

  • Strong financial modeling, data analytics, and technical skills

  • Ability to synthesize both qualitative and quantitative inputs in business decisions

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, including the ability to build relationships with, collaborate, and influence associates across all levels of the company

  • Must be a fast learner and comfortable managing unexpected change

  • Willingness to embrace best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement

  • High standardsand a commitment to excellence with high attention to detail

  • High levelof integrity

  • Knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint;Power BIand SQL experiencearea plus

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this role is 17 USD - 25 USD. Please note that actual rates may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. We also offer benefit programs including paid sick time off, and a 401k match for employees working 20 hours a week or more.
