Description:

Reporting to the Interim Studies Team, the Coordinator of Interim Studies is responsible for the overall design, implementation, and administration of the experiential learning opportunities. Specific duties include:

  • Serve as a lead designer and coordinator of the Interim Studies experiences
  • Collaborate with members of the academic leadership team in the development and implementation of the program
  • Oversee the implementation of the program by providing necessary operational and academic support to faculty
  • Disseminate information about the programs to all constituencies, including students, parents, faculty, and staff/administrators
  • Ensure student placement
  • Prepare and manage the program budget
  • Responsible for the daily operational needs of the program
  • Serve as a primary risk manager for off-campus trips and ensure all necessary risk management training for trip leaders
  • Stays informed of current pedagogical approaches in experiential learning.

This is a stipend position.
