Shift Hours: M-F; 9:00 PM โ€“ 5:30 AM

INTERVIEWS ARE REQUIRED
MUST BE FULLY CLEARED PRIOR TO START
Steel toe shoes needed
***Training will be during day shift and typically there is an extreme delay in getting start details as trainings are scheduled in a group setting***

Job Description:
The Corrugator Department Stacker/Loader/Packer is responsible for basic operations of stacking and loading finished product in the Department they have been assigned to. This includes ensuring that the machines are performing at 100% efficiency, ensuring that products coming off the stacker are being packed and inspected to the highest level of quality, while keeping the product flow moving and work area clean. They are to be engaged and take ownership ensuring they and their co-workers are working safely.
Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety and plant rules
  • Prepare machines for operation: waste pallets available, sorting table clear, workstation clean before shift starts up. Ensure you have all the proper PPE.
  • Keep Rotary Die Cut Operator aware of needed machine adjustments.
  • Continuously monitor stacker/load former in maintaining a minimal amount of waste.
  • Continually monitor bundle scale for correct counts and make needed adjustments.
  • Requires lifting andย carrying, observe ergonomics and do not exceed your limitations.
  • Keep the corrugator downtime to an absolute minimum.
  • Continuously check products to ensure quality; remove defective board if needed.
  • Carry out Sanitation/Preventative Maintenance procedures listed in the Sanitation books in each department.
  • Assist coworkers, when possible, to maximize the performance of the department.
  • Clean up machines and work area at shift end, in preparation for the next shift.
  • Properly use auger and complete waste forms.
  • Properly use conveyor system, load former, shrink tunnel and accumulator.
  • Proper techniques for machines start up i.e. Hands Up.
  • Report machine problems to Supervisor or lead person.
  • Rework and preventative maintenance.
  • In the event of an absence the Supervisor will make a determination whether to run short a person, or a stacker/packer/utility is to beย called over/in.
