Job description

Matthews Signs is a high-output sign company focused on quality work, safe crews, and a family oriented work environment. We are a company who cares about the people on our team. We’re hiring a Lead Installer to run a two-person crew and take ownership of field execution from start to finish.
Responsibilities
  •  Load and transport signage using crane trucks, pickups, and trailers 
  •  Lead installations (channel letters, monuments, panels, etc.) 
  •  Direct a helper and maintain jobsite productivity 
  •  Communicate with customers and contractors on-site 
  •  Report site conditions and issues to management in real time 
  •  Operate lifts and equipment safely and correctly 
  •  Maintain a clean and safe work area/truck 
  •  Report any maintenance needs for trucks
  •  Complete job photos and required documentation 
Qualifications
  •  3–5 years of lead sign installation experience
  •  Proficient with lifts, tools, and field problem-solving 
  •  Owns a complete set of installation tools 
  •  Strong attention to detail and accountability 
  •  OSHA and lift certifications (or ability to obtain) 
  •  Works with urgency and follows through 
  •  Team-oriented and dependable 
  •  Valid Class B Driver's License (required) 
Work Requirements (Do not apply if you cannot meet these requirements)
  • Daily field work with regional travel 
  • Out-of-town work within California required
  • Ability to work varied schedules, including nights as needed
