Lead SQL Database Developer

Direct Hire | $115K–$130K

We are working with a client seeking a Lead SQL Database Developer to help drive the design, development, and support of enterprise-level SQL Server and data integration solutions across the organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on building scalable, high-performing database and ETL solutions that support reporting, analytics, and enterprise data initiatives.

This individual will play a key role in the company’s SQL Server environment, partnering closely with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and maintainable data solutions aligned with long-term technology goals.Design, develop, and support Microsoft SQL Server database solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain complex T-SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, and views
  • Develop and support SSIS packages, ETL processes, and data integrations
  • Troubleshoot database performance, reliability, and scalability issues
  • Translate business requirements into technical database and integration solutions
  • Lead database-focused development efforts and provide mentorship to other developers
  • Establish and promote development standards, best practices, and reusable design patterns
  • Review database designs and code to ensure consistency, quality, and maintainability
